Kakkayam
Kakkayam, located about 45 kms from Kozhikode, is a dam site on the outskirts of the Western Ghats. The picturesque destination provides opportunities for trekking and rock climbing. It is a rich forest area surrounded by tranquil hills and waterfalls, where animals like elephants and bison can be seen roaming around occasionally.
